Описание: A massive protest meeting was organised at Betaligaan Bazaar under Dhamnagar block in Bhadrak district, condemning the alleged mistreatment of Tikhiri Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Chameli Ojha from Kendrapara district.

The gathering, organised by Palasahi Gram Panchayat, witnessed participation from local leaders, public representatives, and residents who described the incident as an attack on the dignity of elected representatives and democratic values.

Protesters demanded a fair and impartial investigation into the matter and sought strict action against those found responsible. They also alleged misuse of police power and warned of intensifying their agitation if prompt action is not taken.

The protest concluded with participants expressing solidarity with Chameli Ojha and urging the government to ensure the dignity, safety, and security of elected public representatives across Odisha.
