Northern California turns cooler and wetter this weekend as an atmospheric river storm moves in. Rain arrives late Friday, lasting through early Monday. Heavier rain is expected north of Sacramento and into the foothills, while the Sierra could see a mix of rain and snow. Drier conditions return early next week.
