The 'Take Stories' Concept:
A hands-on users' journey, following a collection of six diverse 'storytellers,' as they learn to use the cameras' new features, while at the same time harnessing the power of photography to tell a story about their environment, their world, and what they do in their lives.

The Solution:
Capture both photography and motion together, and create a rich user path both by leveraging the assets, still photography, documentary audio-visual content, as well as, the final end-product of the participants (their stories) -- and by using the power of the Internet to spread content, build interest and create momentum.

The Execution:
Anytime you have Richard Walch (Extreme Sport Photographer) in the mix, you know you're in for a bumpy ride. Richard was chosen, not because he's a great photographer, not because he loves Canon products, and not because he's handsome, but because he consistently makes the shot no matter the conditions, no matter the talent, no matter the price. He's truly a maverick; passionate about each second he's behind the camera.

Manamediagroup rocked Rome for a good 4 days: two scout and two shoot. We had a great local team who supplied logistic solutions and typical Italian hospitality. Prego!! The BMX riders delivered more than expected offering ideas and suggestions to take it to the next level. Impressive.

We used our usual workflow: Two Canon XLH1 video cameras, one with a 35mm adapter, shooting photos with a Canon EOS-1D, and Dani "Kiwi" Meier with his gentle persuasion keeping us on mark... Love you Kiwi.

The Result:
Was an incredible journey trekking through the streets of Rome looking for photogenic wall rides, kickers and ramps, which resulted in some great photos and videos that were very well received from all channels thanks to everyone's hard work and commitment. "Grazie mille!"
