You can transfer money on the bank's website. Open firstcitizens.com in your browser. Then on the main page, find the login form. Enter your user id and password. Then click Log In. After login, you can see the dashboard of your bank account. You can see your accounts and balances. Click on "Payments and Transfers" On the "Payments and Transfer" page, click on “Transfer funds between accounts” On the “Transfer Funds” page select From Account. This should be an external account, otherwise you’ll have to pay a fee. Next select “To Account” This should be your First Citizens Bank checking account. Next enter the amount you want to transfer. Then there is a frequency field that allows you to set up regular transfers. You can also schedule transfers in future. Memo can help you to remind yourself what was the purpose of the transfer. Next click “Transfer Funds” Then First Citizens Bank prompts you to authorize transfer from an external account.
Next you can see that transfer is processing. Bank wants to verify yourself using a security code. It will send code to your phone. Type the code and click “Verify” Next you can see confirmation that Transaction Authorized. It can take a minimum two days to transfer money, but can easily stretch to 4 days
