Hey guys! Super excited to share this dish! Probably one of my favorite dishes to have made on this channel so far. It's a long process, but such a rewarding and delicious dish. It's crazy when you think about how dishes like this were invented years ago with so many steps to them.
Boeuf Bourguignon is a beef stew braised in red wine generally flavored with different ingredients like carrots, onions, garlic, bouquet garni, pearl onions, and more! There's variations to it but we followed something closer to what Soma created in Shokugeki no Soma season 1 episode 3. The Boeuf Bourguignon is considered a staple dish from France, specifically originating from Burgundy, France. Having said that, beef stew in general is a very traditional dish around the world and must be a very ancient dish with similarities. Still the French version of this common dish has influenced the modern version around the world. Enjoy the content guys!

Recipe:
1. Add 1 cup of honey to the beef ( brisket or chuck steak)
2. Dice 1/2 a white onion
3. Add 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil
4. Add 2 strips of bacon, roughly chopped
5. Add the beef
6. Flip steak over, to each side
7. Add a handful of baby carrots
8. Add the minced onion
9. Add 2-3 cloves of garlic
10. Add steak back into the pot
11. Add the cooked bacon
12. Add a pinch of salt and pepper
13. Add 1.5 tbs of flour
14. Add 8-10 small pearl onions
15. Add 1 cup of red wine ( Pinot Noir or a Chianti )
16. Add 1 cup of beef stock
17. Add 1 tbs of tomato paste
18. Add a cube of beef bullion and fresh parsley
19. Add finely chopped fresh thyme
20. Add 1 bay leave
21. Add cauliflower
Mushrooms
1. Add butter to the pan
2. 1 tbs of grated garlic
3. Add 1 packet of white mushrooms
4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper
5. Add sauteed mushrooms into the pot
