This is the story of a tree stump that refused to leave my garden.
After peaceful negotiations failed (polite shoveling, deep sighs, staring contests), drastic measures were taken. A chain was deployed. A truck was summoned. Roots were ripped from the earth like a low-budget action movie, complete with dramatic pauses and dirt flying everywhere.
The stumps resisted. The truck did not care.
