Sonic Adventure 2 HD (PS3): Sequence Breaking!?!

So apparently you can skip the prerequisite of having to beat both the Hero and Dark story before being able to finish the last story. In fact, you can skip the majority of Dark story and everything in Last story after making it to Radical Highway!

----How is this done?----

By using the chao key glitch in Radical Highway after setting up your transport location to meteor herd, you can actually manipulate cutscenes, levels, and bosses into being replaced with Meteor Herd. Here's an example to illustrate what is happen...

Say that you have this flow going on...

level (a) - cutscene (b) - boss (c) - cutscene (d) - level (e) - cutscene (f) - end (g)

This process continues to take place every time Meteor Herd is finished, like this...

level (a) - Meteor Herd (b) - Meteor Herd (c) - Meteor Herd (d) - Meteor Herd (e) - cutscene (f) - end (g)

Where Meteor Herd (e) is when you decided to complete the level without doing the chao key glitch.

----Where can this be done?----

This can be done anywhere in the story where you can perform the chao key glitch, provided that you warp to a level where the chao key glitch can also be performed again. For example, you can go from Crazy Gadget to Radical Highway and repeat the chao key glitch at Radical Highway. The primary reason for using Meteor Herd with Shadow (or Sonic) as the transport location for the chao key glitch is because of how quickly the chao key glitch can be done while finishing the level (roughly 20 to 25 seconds). Another plus is that no upgrades are required if this is done with an action stage character.

----Miscellaneous----

If the chao key glitch is done enough time to pass the credits on the Hero story, you will pass on to the Dark story.

If the chao key glitch is done enough time to pass the credits on the Dark story, you will pass on to the Last story.

If the chao key glitch is done enough time to pass the credits on the Last story, a lot of different things can happen. This will be updated as time passes on and I (or other people) perform the chao key glitch a certain number of times beyond the Last story credits.

Update(s): After returning to my save where last story was completed and doing some more levels, it appears that my emblems are now being tabulated correctly. This includes the emblem from completing the last story, which I can't see on my emblem results. Dark story still seems to be done for, but I have an idea to remedy that!

1. Complete Hero story.

2. Chao key glitch from Crazy Gadget to Meteor Herd.

3. Chao key glitch at Meteor Herd enough times to pass on to the Dark story.

4. Finish the Dark story.
