A.W.S.M. (Another Weapon Sound Mix) | GTA SA

Описание: Another weapon sounds mix by yours truly, ecoj.
More metallic, punchy and high quality sounds.
Intended to be used together with S.A.R.S. (remastered SFX) and DSOAL Reverb mod.

I didn't make any of these sounds, I just mixed them up and put them together for personal use.
All credit goes to the people who made the sounds originally and the ones who ported them to SA later on.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Drag and drop "Audio - Weapons" folder into modloader.
2. Enjoy!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Please read

To sound good, this pack requires you to install either DSOAL reverb mod, which converts the sounds to OpenAL, significantly improving how the sounds are played in the game among other features,
I'll leave my settings for the OpenAL Reverb mod.

To install the reverb mod itself just copy the files "ReverbSA.asi, ReverbSA.ini, dsound.dll, dsoal-aldrv.dll, alsoft.ini" into your directory
and run the "dsound registry patch"
this is necessary so it will change some stuff from the Windows registry in order to recognize some sound stuff that newer versions of windows no longer uses.
Step only necessary for win10/11 users, I believe.

To install my settings, just replace the ReverbSA.ini and alsoft.ini with the one I provide.
