📝 Description:
To memorize the reverse gear position, set the mirror selector to R. Engage reverse. Adjust to a position that suits you. Put the gear out of reverse and wait a few seconds.
Change the selector to 0 and the mirror should return to the normal driving position.

VCDS software & OBD-II cable (for Skoda Octavia III)
Laptop/PC for using VCDS

💻 Coding:
You have the option of activating the lowering of the passenger mirror when engaging reverse gear.

[Encoding - 07]
Byte 4 - Bit 2 activate
Byte 4 - Bit 3 activate

Change the ignition (ignition off and ignition back on).

Then open the control unit 52 - door electrics again. Passenger and check the fault memory. If there is an error regarding the mirror adjustment/mirror lowering, do not continue with the instructions and cancel the coding you have already done. The vehicle does not support lowering the passenger mirror.

Change the adaptation channel "IDE08542-ENG116650-Zugangskontrolle 2-Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt "active".
Change the adaptation channel "IDE08542-ENG116657-Zugangskontrolle 2-Menuesteuerung Spiegelabsenkung" to the value "active".

Alternatively

Change the adaptation channel "ENG141635-ENG116650-Spiegelverstellung-Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt" to the value "active".
Change the adaptation channel "ENG141635-ENG116657-Spiegelverstellung-Menuesteuerung Spiegelabsenkung "active".
