I put together this demo featuring my LINE 6 HELIX running STEREO into a VOX AC15 and a FENDER DELUXE REVERB - '68 REISSUE. The AC15 can be heard on the left and the DELUXE REVERB on the right. Amplifier settings are as follows:
VOX AC15 (stock) - TOP BOOST CHANNEL
Volume - 10 o'clock
Treble - 10 o'clock
Bass - 2 o'clock
MASTER VOLUME - 11 o'clock
TREBLE CUT - 10 o'clock
FENDER DELUXE REVERB '68 REISSUE (stock) - VINTAGE CHANNEL 1
Volume - 4
Treble - 4.5
Bass - 6
Both are mic'd with a Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser e906 with the 906 mixed about 4.5db quieter than the SM57. Th mix allows for the bite of the SM57 but gives the bottom end some presence from the e906.
An UNIVERSAL AUDIO APOLLO QUAD with a NEVE 273 pre-amp emulation was used for mic pre-amps. No additional EQ or Compression was used in the mix down of the demo.
