Types of camels in the world! How to differentiate between a dromedary camel and a bactrian camel? A guide to camel species.
The dromedary, or one-humped camel, is primarily found in North Africa and the Middle East. It is adapted to hot, arid environments and is characterized by its single hump, tall and lean build, and shorter fur. Dromedaries are commonly used for transport and riding in desert regions.
The Bactrian camel, on the other hand, has two humps and is native to Central Asia, particularly in Mongolia and China. It is more robust and heavily built than the dromedary, with a thick coat of fur that helps it survive in extreme climates, including both hot summers and freezing winters. Bactrians are often used as pack animals in mountainous and cold regions.
The film uses stock photographs and footage.
