British Hop Harvest - Charles Faram Hop Walk

Описание: Harry & Guy were invited to Pridewood farm for the 2016 Charles faram Hop Walk. After enjoying some fine beers that showcased some of the varieties grown on the hop farm and an amazing buffet lunch we sat down to speakers from the industry. After listening contently to the USA UK and European hop harvest report we were given a tour of Pridewood farm, Owned by the Tuck family. Alongside rows and rows of hop bines were acres of apple trees and some wonderful woods and hedgerows. Before we left we were treated to a tour of the hop picking machine and the Kilns used to dry the hops after harvest. We had a wonderful time and the hosts were very welcoming, we will be back next year where the event will be held at the farm owned by Ali the head of the British Hop Association.
