Opposition leader Mohamed Brahmi was gunned down in front of his family today, making him the second prominent political opponent of Ennahda to be shot in six months. What's more, the assassination took place on Tunisia's "Republic Day", causing many to say that Brahmi's killing also targeted revolutionary values such as democracy.
