Every day should be Human Rights Day! As part of our video campaign for the International Human Rights Day, we therefore continue to give political prisoners in Belarus, which are incarcerated under inhumane conditions, a voice. At the moment, more than 900 of them are in jail. Their "crime"? They fought for freedom of speech, democracy and free elections.
With the support of Audiolith Records and together with activists from Вясна, RAZAM, BelarusSichtbarMachen, Politzek.me, Belarus Free Theatre dissident.by and the Coordination Council, we give these political prisoners a voice and share their letters and thoughts from jail.
