IMMO OFF on Bosch ME17.5.6
Here’s how it’s typically done
What You Need:
ECU Flash Tool:
KESS, KTAG, MPPS, or similar
Original ECU File (read from the ECU)
Software:
WinOLS (for manual editing)
IMMO OFF Software (specialized tools or scripts)
Professional tuner tools or scripts ECMT
Checksum Correction Tool
Boot Mode access (often needed for reading/writing on ME17.5.6)
Read Flash from ECU (Boot mode may be needed)
Extract and Edit EEPROM or Flash Dump
Locate immobilizer section (address varies by file)
Patch the file to disable IMMO (manual or with automated tools)
Correct Checksums
Write Back to ECU

ME17.5.6 ECUs are Tricore-based, often requiring boot pin access.
