EKME announces the successful transportation of the FCCU Regenerator K-4102X Top Head & Cyclone System, part of the Project "Supply of new Top Head & Cyclone System of FCCU Regenerator K-4102X and Z-4105 Reactor Overhead Line for Unit U4100" within the framework of FCC Medusa Project Phase 1 for HelleniQ Energy Group (HelleniQ Petroleum S.A.).
The impressive construction — measuring 8.2 × 8.2 × 14.6 m and weighing 210 tons — was prefabricated at EKME’s Thessaloniki Main Facility, transported to the Port of Thessaloniki where it was fully assembled together with the Cyclones, and then safely loaded onto MAMMOET’s SPMTs, for loading onto a dedicated barge for shipment to Aspropyrgos Refinery Jetty, in Attica.
