Former Tennessee DCS worker speaks out; Department of Children's Services on verge of collapse

Описание: A woman who dedicated 10 years of her life to the beleaguered Tennessee Department of Children's Services (DCS) opens up to FOX 17 News about her departure from the department.

Her defection to the private sector is part of what is now a critical shortage of case workers.

The woman asked FOX 17 News to remain anonymous as she still works with kids and has regular contact with DCS. She said upper management doesn't understand what case workers are going through.

This former DCS worker said she loved the job, but came to a point where she just could not do it anymore.
