No Power... No Problem!! Harbor Freight 9000 Watt Predator Generator Review AND Real Outage Test!

Review and breakdown of the key features, quality components (surprised at this price point), and the necessary accessories. I then show you the manual transfer switch that's wired into my house's main electrical panel, providing the ability to switch between all circuits (normally powered through the utility's meter) and a subset of circuits on a subpanel, that is fed exclusively by the generator (when the switch is in the down position).

Following the functionality and switch overview, I fire it up and do a real world load test!

Finally, I wrap up with my first real (actual 4 hour outage) test of the Predator generator. This was the first real load test for the house. We had a 4 hour outage and this thing performed like a champ! Was able to run the whole house (lights, tankless water heater, well pump, microwave, toaster oven, space heaters, even the downstairs furnace). Not a problem for the new 9000 watt (max) / 7250 watt (running) generator.

I'll publish my overall performance results, hours per gallon, run time, oil change frequency, and other maintenance details in an upcoming video!
