A matched trio of EMD SD50s of the Hudson Bay Railway run through a gauntlet of drifted snow as they pull a string of sand hoppers along the Illinois Railway.
A tip from engineer Matt got me out in front of this train. It would have been a nifty lashup even without the snow. Thanks to Matt for the tip, the wave and the excellent horn play.
I like the veil of snow that surrounds the train as it pulls away from the snow drifts.
