went to one of the least used stations in all of Tokyo—Horikiri Station—to show you why this quiet spot is actually one of the best places for train watching in Japan. It’s not on the JR line, it’s not in the tourist guides, but it’s got amazing train views you won’t find in Shibuya or Shinjuku.

From this small Tobu station, you can see everything from local commuter trains to multiple types of Limited Express trains like the Spacia X, Liberty, Ryomo, and Kegon. If you’re into Japanese trains or just looking for a chill trainspotting location in Tokyo, this place is seriously underrated.

In this video, I’ll take you from Kita-Senju Station to Horikiri Station, give you a quick look around the area, and show you exactly what kinds of trains pass by here. This is one of those hidden train spots that even most Tokyo locals skip.
