A few years ago, the suggestion would have sounded absurd to the point of being puerile but today when one sees Indian democracy's plight in the hallowed halls of the Parliament and its assemblies, one has to wonder if the use of force by placing Marshals in these houses that act as repositories of the principles of Indian democracy, is the only way to uphold the dignity of these 'Houses of the Holy'.
