Join Ryan Hooks, Bartender at Saint Felix in Hollywood as he takes you away again and shows you a great, simple and delicious recipe for a Margarita.
What you'll need:
1 Lime wedge
1 Orange wedge
1 oz Simple Syrup (or 3 oz Sweet and Sour Mix)
1 oz Lime Juice (or 3 oz Sweet and Sour Mix)
1 oz Lemon Juice (or 3 oz Sweet and Sour Mix)
1 oz Triple Sec
2 oz Tequila
Pint Glass
Garnish with a lime (and salt if desired)
Sweet and Sour Mix:
Boil 1 Cup water and 1 Cup Sugar until sugar is dissolved
Allow Simple syrup to cool.
Add 1 Cup lemon Juice and ¾ Cup Lime Juice
(optional add 1 egg white to the mix to get a nice frothy consistency in the drink)
