A brief look at the Slick Stick Recurve from Bodnik Bows. Today we are shooting balloons! Balloons make fun targets. They provide instant gratification and show up great on camera. Also, since you have to set them up, you really try to make the shots count.
Now back to the Slick Stick. This is a wonderful bow. It is smooth to draw, light in the hand and has very little vibration. It is also quick! Here I am shooting a 35lb version with a 58" AMO. The riser is compact and made of laminated action wood with bamboo and fiberglass limbs. This is not a fancy bow but it handles and performs extremely well. It has a durable matte finish and comes with an incredible 30 year warranty that is transferable. It is the recurve version of the popular Slick Stick Longbow.
