SECC Tech Nights: AI Engineering: The New Discipline for Building the Future of Humanity

Описание: The domination of, and the interaction between, the current three major AI trends (i.e., hyper-complex AI systems, data-centric AI approach, and human-centric AI approach) forced enterprises to examine the power of the well-established software engineering discipline to shape the development and operations of AI systems.

However, recently, it was evident that typical software engineering practices are insufficient for engineering modern AI systems and that there is a need to establish a specialized discipline for that purpose. This discipline is currently and separately referred to as “AI Engineering.”

Dr. Ahmed, R&D Manager at ITIDA-SECC, helps executives and decision makers shape their strategies in the disruptive digital economy using broad exposure to a wide range of strategies, business models, methodologies, frameworks, and technologies such as "AI, Data Analytics, FinTech, Metaverse, Business & Enterprise Architecture, Blockchain, Lean Six Sigma, TOGAF, CMMI, and Agile." Furthermore, he helped them to realize these strategies using strategy governance frameworks such as "Balanced Scorecards," "COBIT," and "Objectives & Key Results - OKRs." He obtained his "Executive Doctorate of Business Administration" dual degrees from the SKEMA Business School & iaeLyon School of Management —France.
Previously, he obtained an MBA from Warwick Business School—UK and an MSc from AAST—Egypt. He has diversified work experiences as an R&D Manager, Advisor to C-Suite levels, Business & Enterprise Architect, and Executive Coach.
