Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) claims to be the only true church, rejecting the deity of Christ, the Trinity, and salvation by grace through faith. But what happens when you test those claims through the A.P.E.X. Worldview Filter—Analyze, Probe, Examine, Expose?
In this episode, Dr. Shaun Michael brings together Scripture, logic, church history, and worldview analysis to evaluate whether Iglesia Ni Cristo stands on biblical truth or human invention. When the INC’s doctrines are placed under the microscope of the 66 books of the Protestant Bible, the cracks become impossible to ignore.
INC teaches that Felix Manalo is “God’s Last Messenger.” Yet Scripture says God’s final revelation is not through a Filipino religious leader but through His Son (Hebrews 1:1–2). INC insists that the church disappeared from the earth for 19 centuries until Manalo restored it. Yet Jesus declared that His church would never be destroyed and that the gates of hell would not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). History affirms a continuous, global body of believers—not a vanished church hiding for two millennia.
INC demands loyalty to its institution for salvation, but Acts 4:12 teaches salvation is found in Christ alone, not in a registration number, locale membership, or allegiance to a human administration. Their doctrine of “church‑mediated salvation” contradicts the finished work of Christ on the cross and the apostolic gospel preached in the New Testament.
The INC denies the deity of Christ, but the Bible reveals Jesus as fully God and fully man from Genesis to Revelation. Christ creates (John 1:3), forgives sins (Mark 2:5–7), receives worship (Matthew 14:33; 28:17), judges humanity (John 5:22), and possesses the divine Name above every name (Philippians 2:9–11). These are not the works of a mere man, angel, or messenger—these are the works of YHWH in the flesh.
Iglesia Ni Cristo rejects the Trinity, replacing it with a man‑centered, Filipino‑centric theology that has no historical, exegetical, or linguistic foundation. But the Bible reveals one God in three Persons—Father, Son, and Spirit—each fully divine, acting in unity, distinct yet equal (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1; Acts 5:3–4).
This video is not about hate—it’s about truth, clarity, and biblical fidelity. If INC’s claims were true, they would withstand historical evidence, textual analysis, and rigorous worldview testing. But when compared with the Scriptures, their doctrines collapse. The prophetic Scriptures, the teachings of Jesus, and the witness of the apostles expose the INC’s foundation as unstable, unbiblical, and inconsistent with the historic Christian faith.
Whether you are an INC member, ex‑member, Christian, or seeker, this episode invites you to examine what you’ve been taught and compare it with what God actually said. The Bible doesn’t fear examination—false religions do.
Let's see if Iglesia Ni Cristo's true church claims hold up. I don't mind an Iglesia Ni Cristo debate.
