The first and second day of hiking is the famous Tour du Mont Blanc trail. Our car broke in Switzerland on the way to Les Houches, so we arrived late and had only a few hours of hiking the first day.
These first two days we walked 14 and 16 km through French forests up to the first mountain area at the end of the second day where we wild camped near Refuge de La Croix du Bonhomme. Heavy wind with strong rainfall throughout the whole night showed us how powerful nature could be...
