MERRY CHRISTMAS! This is a 16mm film scan of episode 19 of the 1984 TV anime series "Mori no Tonto-tachi" (Elves of the Forest), which was produced by Zuiyo and animated by Shaft. In the show, Santa Claus and his family live along with the elves and wights in a forest in Finland. They experience a lot of adventures along with the other residents of the forest.
The print was scanned by us in 4K for our good friend edo999 (https://mastodon.social/@edo999), who allowed us to share this episode with you all for Christmas. It was then subbed by our friends over at LonelyChaser fansubs. The print received no color correction or restoration, so what you see is the film's natural state after cropping and encoding for YouTube.
