It's been a shitwhile since I uploaded something here, hoooly shit
Introducing my brand new Modding Tutorial, that will teach you how to edit music and sounds in Um Jammer Lammy and Parappa The Rapper 1! If I remember correctly, there was already a tutorial for that, but since this tutorial was, well, wacky to understand it, I decided to make a better one.
This tutorial would probably work for other PS1 games, I think. Depends on having .XA/.VB files inside the game
EDIT: About Sound editing. After some experimenting with PTR2, I just realized that .BD files - where the sounds are stored - are working LITERALLY the same as .VB files. So if you see any BD files in your game, you know what to do

If you're clueless for which SX (X - number) folders has VB sounds for, here's a little list:
CM --- There's no INT files whatsoever
S0 --- Menu Sounds & Musics
S1 - S7 --- Stage 1-7 Sounds
S8 --- "Special" Stage - Music Player - sounds
