Gas mask confidence training prepares Secret Service officers and agents to operate safely and decisively in environments involving chemical and airborne threats. This training is intentionally uncomfortable, exposing participants to real sensory stress in a controlled setting so they learn to think clearly, move efficiently and rely on their equipment when conditions deteriorate.
From donning and doffing procedures to operating under pressure, this training builds independence and readiness. Chemical and airborne threats are not going away, and this preparation ensures our personnel are ready to respond when it matters most.
