Authorities even shut down the internet to prevent students from screening and watching the series, which has already been blocked by the Centre on several platforms. Soon after, some claimed that members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) threw stones at students who had come to watch the series. They claimed they were attacked while watching the documentary on their cellphones. The student body affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh denied the charges. The student Union of JNU registered a complain against ABVP members. Later ABVP also registered a complain against JNUSU.
