During October 1939 the show 'The Little Dog Laughed' opened at the Palladium in London.
The show was a vehicle for The Crazy Gang, one of the songs from the show was Run, Rabbit, Run sung by Bud Flanagan.
The most famous version was recorded by Flanagan and Allen.
Billy Cotton released it on the B side of 'The Girl Who Loves A Soldier' with Alan Breeze taking the vocal.
