Saudi Arabia has officially taken a decisive step into cricket. After months of speculation about the Saudi Riyal’s ability to reshape the sport as it has other industries, the kingdom has shifted from discussion to action by partnering with neighbouring UAE through the ILT20. Under this collaboration, the ILT20 will work alongside the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) and its commercial arm, the Cricket Investment Company (CIC), to grow the game in Saudi Arabia and nurture local talent.
