Factory Sound was visited by Andrew Crawford (aka The MixWizard) for a deep preview to the new Allen & Heath Qu-5/6/7 series of mixers.
The NEW Qu Series offers 96K FPGA and DEEP Processing capabilities, along with Dante options and plenty of other enhancements, compared with original (48K) Qu-16, Qu-24 and Qu-32.
In fact, these are far closer in performance to the legendary SQ-series than to the original Qu-series – yet they retain the simplicity of design and form-factor that has made Qu such a popular console over the years.
Not only can NEW Qu work happily with 96K (S-link equipped) I/O, such as DX168, but will also work with any existing Qu-supported products, including AB168.
