Starfox 64 "NEW Maximum Score" [5198 Hit] 2025 (TAS)

I present to you the next level in Maximum score TASing. This run does everything possible to make that score go higher. Notably, there is a 40 minute grind session starting at the boss on Solar. A break-down of each level below:
Corneria -
0:11 - Corneria (409) - +6 points over my previous run. I fixed a charge shot that didn't count for some points because I fired it too early. I maximized the distance between the bots carrying the girders so I could get in an extra couple shots. And finally, I found a better pattern on the jumping moles. This is not the final version of this stage, though. You can check out an improvement I already made to this level in my channel (in both score and entertainment)
5:22 - Meteo (891) - A new level with an insane new score. Most of the improvement comes from the asteroids. I found you could score points on the little fragments when they break apart, and I was able to destroy ALL of the asteroids and their bits. After the warp to the hidden path where the asteroids turn neon they change how they work. Instead of breaking apart they will either explode instantly or float for a while before disappearing. I was able to manipulate a better pattern of asteroids lingering so that I could get bonus points for destroying the asteroids around it with charge shots.
12:11 - Katina (742) - Another new level that comes with a gargantuan improvement over the previous record. It seemed like you just wanted to kill as many enemies as possible as fast as possible instead of just focusing on bonus points. A recent decompilation of Star Fox 64's code uncovered all of the inner workings of the Saucer and how the hatches work. I'd expect a new record on the horizon
18:15 - Solar (999) - This level was the whole reason for the change in route initially. I willing chose to skip this route as a speed vs. entertainment trade off. Because to get to the true high score you have to sit and grind for 40 minutes over 500 points from the boss. But because that other project is done I can do a true maximum run without concern for entertainment (and yet I still spend a tremendous amount of effort making it look good).
1:02:21 - Macbeth (319) - Unfortunately, there's no change in score. Every enemy and object was destroyed for all the bonus points already. Instead I focused on some bits of new movement throughout the level.
1:08:23 - Area 6 (839) - +2 points over my previous run. The first is from an extra bonus point on a missile cluster. The second was from manipulating a better pattern for the carrot homing missiles for another extra bonus point.
1:14:37 - Venom 2 (999) - It's still utter humiliation for team Wolfen as I achieve almost all my points from them alone. Only, it's even worse as I do it almost a minute faster.
This was an absolute journey for me. 2 years in the making.
