Earlier this month I was lucky enough to attend an early screening of La La Land just before it opened in the UK and I absolutely fell in love with the film. Being someone who works in musical theatre, a lot of the songs really stood out to me but I particularly enjoyed Someone In The Crowd - as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted to record a cover of it. Recording Someone In The Crowd has certainly been a challenge, it might well be the most complicated cover I've ever released (featuring Trumpets, Saxes, Trombones, French Horns and even a Tin Whistle) but I'm really happy with the end result. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed watching La La Land!

La La Land was directed by Damien Chaszelle and stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling and I highly recommend you go and see it if you haven't already. You can also hear the original version of Someone In The Crowd and more amazing songs by Justin Hurwitz, on the La La Land soundtrack.
