A Three-Year-Old "Reads" Where the Wild Things Are

Описание: One weekend in late February 2013 I sat my three-year-old daughter on my lap to read her Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, which in recent weeks had become a favorite bedtime story of hers. Unprompted, she recited the book, "Max," as she called it, page-for-page. The following night I shot this video. Although my daughter was not reading in the formal sense of the word, she was performing some of the fundamental activities in the early stages of literacy.
