Pete Hegseth runs the Pentagon like a man who never read the War Crimes Act of 1996. Maybe someone should mail him a copy. The double-tap drone strike is not a foreign policy decision. It is a federal crime under American law, punishable by execution, with no statute of limitations.
James Comey got indicted for posting a picture of seashells. The Justice Department says the shells spelled out a death threat. The country in which a former FBI Director can be charged with threatening the life of a president over a beach photo is not the country anyone signed up for.
Bobby Kennedy was right about GDP fifty years ago. The economy is doing fine if you only count the people doing fine. Everyone else gets to watch the dashboard while the engine burns.
