The Phoenix Police Department is testing the use of video cameras on the uniforms of officers. The goal is to evaluate the impact on domestic violence cases and officer/citizen interactions. This program, produced for Phoenix Channel 11, looks at what's been discovered during the first several months of the project.
Hosted by Michael White, an associate professor in the ASU School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, the show features interviews with Maryvale Precinct Commander Michael Kurtenbach and Charles Katz, director of the ASU Center for Violence Prevention and Community Safety and a professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
