Описание:
A visual poem about death, surrender, and renewal. Written by an INFJ.
(best if listened to using headphones)
⨁ Words:
Surrender
Winter,
a death-like sleep, slumbers on.
A blanket of white,
silencing the life beneath.
A promise of Spring pricks through its icy exterior,
penetrating frost and cold.
As the bud pushes through to new life,
Winter bristles through hushed, frost-laden whispers.
It replies, “Not yet”,
as it cradles the bud
in a layer of freshly fallen snow.
Still, Spring persists,
urging and stirring against death’s grasp.
At that moment, in glorious surrender
death lets go.
Making way for renewal;
giving new life a final parting gift,
its frost thawing into the earth
watering the bud.
