How War became a Game | Kriegsspiel | First Military Simulation - War Gaming

Описание: In today's episode we are taking a look at the origins, development and innovations of Kriegsspielwar, which also inspired many of our board and role-playing games today.
Starting with chess in the 5th century, we look to the 17th and 18th century´s contemporary advances in cartography, as various changes enabled the leap from abstract training in strategic thinking, to real usability for simulation and leadership training.
