Hooked and Locked Crochet Along: Blanket part 1 - setup and row 1 alternative way of working

Описание: This is part 1 with the start of the blanket of the Hooked and Locked Crochet Along, or in short the HAL CAL, about the interlocking crochet™ technique. In this video I show how you can do rows 1a and 1b when you have to work with a large number of stitches and a lot of stitchmarkers. It is slightly different than the video of the practice pece, but the setup and the other rows are the same, so watch these video’s first. Also watch the video with the extra tips for row 1. In this part of the blanket the same pattern is used as we did in the practice piece, for the following rows, where the pattern changes, I made a separate video.

In the previous video’s about the practice piece I gave a short introduction about this CAL and how to do the setup and how to crochet rows 1 to 3.

Interlocking crochet™ is a technique that works with 2 layers of filet crochet, that get interwoven through eachother during crocheting, which makes nice patterns, that sometimes look totally different on the other side.

For the practice piece and for the large blanket I used Alize Cotton Gold.
