Alyssa Healy, Australian women's cricket captain and wicket-keeper batter, has announced her retirement after 16 years in the national team. The 36-year-old champion, niece of wicket-keeping great Ian Healy and wife of pace bowler Mitchell Starc, will play her final match in a one-off Test against India in Perth beginning March 6. Healy cited loss of competitive edge and the desire to finish at home as key factors in her decision to retire.
