Описание: The wait is over! After 15 years, Diana Ross returned to the British shores with a vengeance. Closing the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration on June 4th, 2022, Diana Ross rolled the gangway to other parts of the British Isles with stops in Cardiff Castle in Wales and Cambridge, UK. Her arrival at Manchester, UK AO arena was her first indoor setting of her summer tour and it was a show like no other. Halfway thru the show, after performing her #1 UK hit, "Chain Reaction," she brought out another nugget that is usually reserved for the European audience "I'm Still Waiting," The song was not a hit in the United States but Britain embraced it, and they took it to the top of their official charts in 1971.


For me it was an experience to hear a Diana Ross song rarely heard in the USA, and to hear the audience sing along to it is simply a joy to experience. It was well worth the wait.


I know it may seem like an extreme measure to fly all the way to the UK to stop, look and listen to one of the world's most legendary singer but I look at it as an adventure since I've never been to the UK and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. Why not mix in music and pleasure with a little history and adventure! It's also great to see and hear the reaction of the British people who kept Diana Ross' legacy alive long after the American audience swept her away in favor of the flavor diva of the moment. But Ms Ross is back, bigger than ever with a new album, "Thank You," and a hit single with Tame Impala, "Turn Up The Sunshine" from the soundtrack, "Minions: The Rise of Gru." And judging by this performance, there's no stopping her. Even at 78, she still reign Supreme.
