Description: Being an EMS educator is hard, but it doesn’t have to be. EMS educators are in a world that does not adequately prepare them for the realities/challenges of being an instructor. EMS methodologies courses are great and teach you the fundamentals that you need to know about how to be an instructor but just like the EMT or paramedic program they do not prepare you for the reality of what the teaching realm is like for EMS educators. In this course instructors, would be instructors, education coordinators and up will learn the top 10 things I wish I knew when I first became an EMS instructor. These top ten things will assist any instructor or would-be instructor on how to make their jobs easier and their content more engaging and fun.
