The Need For Speed 2 car is real.. we drove it out of the Petersen Museum and filmed it.

This is the theme for this year's Hypercar Invitational. It's directly inspired by a vivid and memorable dream HI's founder had as a kid after falling asleep while reading an article on his dream car at the time, the Isdera Commendatore.
In this dream, the Isdera Commendatore somehow showed up in his parent's garage, and he got to drive it. In the dream, the brakes were really stiff and took all the strength to use, and the steering was unassisted so turning the wheel was so tough, almost impossible. but somehow as the dreamer drove down steep hills he was in a race and avoiding cars at the last minute and somehow felt every touch and feel and sound...

This video is that moment come true. Thanks to the generous and trusting owner of this one in the world car, we drove this dream machine straight out of the Petersen Museum in LA, and shot with it for 2 full days to bring this to life. Bringing this dream to live, was more amazing in every sense, than the dream itself.

Hopefully this video brings out those vivid dreams in everyone who watches it, this is what we aim to create with Hypercar Invitational. We want to make dreams come true both for our guests, as well as for Make-A-Wish kids who we raise money for.
