Day In The Life of a Composer, Drew Morris Vlog #8, October 4, 2021

Описание: I've seen several "Day in the life" videos from various types of people, but I'm not sure if I've seen one by a composer before. Though the day wasn't as productive as I would have hoped, it felt pretty typical so I decided to edit the footage together and release it.
In this video I am attempting to start composing a new percussion ensemble that a local school has commissioned from me. At the time of the video release I haven't managed to put much more music together than the various bits you see in the video. Hopefully that changes soon.

This video was filmed on October 4th, 2021.
The camera I used in this video is the Panasonic Lumix G7 with a 2.5/14 lens. I also used an iPhone 13 mini for a few shots, though I was less happy with the quality on those. I bet you can tell which shots those were.
Video edited on a MacBook Pro (I think it is a 2017 or 2018) using Final Cut Pro X.
