Thank you for viewing this video! Welcome to my video series on Philippine Storm Signals. This video was made after Typhoon Haiyan or Supertyphoon Yolanda hit the Philippines and claimed the lives of thousands of Filipinos. One of the factor is the new implementation of the Storm Signals especially Storm Signal Number 5. These new classification was done due to the fact that storms today are much faster and stronger because of the effects of climate change. Many taught that the classification is the same table only given a new name when in fact, storm signal no. 5 was an added classification after typhoons started to become stronger.

In this video, I would be giving a short introduction to the series. Not everybody in their areas need to know all the storm signals so I left cards for you to click to direct you to the proper storm signal and what to expect. Youtube is intended to be interactive so feel free to use all the features that Youtube has provided for me for you to learn more about these signals.
