Plot summary:
The story begins with a king who is surrounded by enemies, including his trusted advisors. His newborn son is abducted and ends up being raised by a band of gypsies. The conspirators replace the real prince with the son of one of the traitors, who grows up to be a tyrannical ruler named Shamsher Singh. Shamsher imprisons the queen and terrorizes the kingdom. The true prince, now named Suraj and unaware of his royal heritage, must eventually surface to reclaim his birthright.
