Cotton crew-neck blouse looking like a knit T-shirt. Part 1. Drafting using 10 measurements system.

Описание: Today we begin work on an unusual blouse - it will imitate a knit t-shirt, but it’s made in quite a stiff cotton. To achieve the desired effect, we’ll base ourselves on our 10 measurements basic bodice sloper and will draft a blouse with a relaxed armscye, we’ll work with the darts - a classic t-shirt is sewn without darts, but when made in a woven cotton, darts are a must. To imitate the look of a knit t-shirt as much as possible, we’ll transfer the darts to other parts of the garment in order to make them less noticeable. This is precisely what differentiates a blouse from a t-shirt. We’ll also work with the sleeve - we’ll smooth the cap curve and we’ll increase its height. Join us, it’s going to be very interesting!
