How to Clean HYDROPONICS System

Описание: Want to OPTIMIZE the growth in your hydroponics system? Then you need to clean it on a regular basis. There are 10 steps to cleaning my system that have been extremely simple and successful.

Here are the steps to get rid of the dirt and germs in your hydroponic system:
Step 1: Move any living plants away from the tank and area that you are cleaning.
Step 2: Set up the cleaning supplies you will be using. I suggest mild dish soap, white vinegar, baking soda, a spray bottle, loofah sponges, nylon bristle scrub brush, bottle brush, toothbrush, disposable gloves, a couple of buckets, and a few old towels.
Step 3: Prepare a couple of gallons of cleaning solution using 2-3 teaspoons of white vinegar for each gallon of water. Put one gallon in a separate bucket in which the smaller pieces of your hydroponics system will soak.
Step 4: Turn off power to electrical components such as lights and aerator pumps.
Step 5: Remove all debris from the tank, the tank lid, and the net cups. Dispose of any non-organic material and compost the remaining leaves, roots, and stems.
Step 6: Drain the old nutrient and repurpose to outdoor plants.
Step 7: Spray all sides of the tank and lid with water, then lightly scrub with a few drops of mild dish soap and a sponge. Let soak for 5-10 minutes.
Use scrubbing brushes and baking soda to remove hardened sediment.
Rinse well.
Step 8: Spray all sides of the lid and tank with the vinegar/water solution and let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse.
Step 9: Clean and rinse well all the smaller pieces of your hydroponics system.
Step 10: Dry with a clean towel and get ready to go from seed to salad again!
